02 / Operating focus
Orcus is a voice-first service coordination platform that helps customers describe work naturally, understand likely pricing, find a verified local provider and track the job to completion.
Visit the Orcus websiteOrca, the voice concierge inside Orcus, understands spoken and written requests in major Indian languages. A customer can explain a leaking tap, an AC that is not cooling, urgent groceries or an unusual local task without knowing the formal service category.

How it works
Use voice, text or a photo. Orca identifies the category, urgency and likely scope.
Orcus considers verification, skill, distance, rating and availability, one match at a time.
See local pricing context, receive the provider's quote and confirm before anything is booked.
Track status, completion PINs, before-and-after evidence, ratings and post-job support.
Coverage
Orcus begins with common household, repair, mobility, personal and event services, while its natural-language intake is designed for broader lawful work.
The trust system
Provider identity, selfie, service area and work samples are reviewed before activation.
Requests are not indiscriminately broadcast to many providers, reducing spam and price races.
Customers see what work commonly costs in their locality before committing.
Contact information is not shared before a booking is confirmed.
Photos, status records and a completion PIN help establish what happened.
In-app complaints, ticketed support and the published Orcus policies provide an escalation path.

Business model
Orcus charges providers a small fixed fee for completed leads rather than taking a percentage of the job. Declined leads and work that does not happen are not charged. The model is designed to keep customer pricing transparent and provider earnings independent.
